What's new in Letora

What changed in each beta version, newest first. You can see your version at the bottom of Letora's Settings screen.

Version 0.2.0 (85) · September 29, 2026

Clearer names in Settings. "Look and reading" is now "Appearance". Under Privacy, the usage switch is now "Help improve Letora", with a plainer explanation.

Version 0.2.0 (84) · September 29, 2026

Simpler Settings. Settings now opens on a short list: Languages, Word help, Playback, Look and reading, Storage, Privacy and Help. Each row shows your current choice.

Continue plays a paused episode. If you pause an episode while it is still downloading, tapping it under Continue plays it again.

One question about usage statistics. Letora asks once whether you want to help improve it with anonymous counts. Both answers are fine, and you can change it anytime in Settings → Privacy.

Smoother listening while downloading. "Back to the player" keeps your pause, and an episode that is still downloading already shows up under Continue.

Podcasts start right away. Tap Listen and the episode starts playing within a second or two while it downloads. The text appears when the download finishes.
